Student ID cards also promote a sense of belonging to the Bible-based distance learning program. "AOA student IDs foster a sense of school community and allow students to take advantage of valuable student discounts," said Kelli Hoogers, Alpha Omega Academy services department head.AOA's student IDs include a submitted photograph of the student, the AOA logo and school name, the student's name and address, the student's phone number, the ID's date of expiration, and logos of AOA's accrediting bodies (AdvancED, ACSI, and NCA). Student ID cards measure similar dimensions to the size of a driver's license, at 2 ½ in. by 2 ½ in. Enrolled K-12 students are not required to hold a student ID, but are encouraged to ask their academy service representative to receive one to prove student status. AOA student IDs expire one year from issue date.
