As we walked through the garden one morning during the summer break from our distance learning school, my daughter watched, as I began to pinch off the tops of several tomato plants. With a shocked look on her face, she cried, "Mom, what are you doing? We've been trying to get these plants to grow for weeks, and now you're destroying them!"...
Many people would agree that parents often have the most powerful influence on a child's life, and it may have been true during your childhood as well. In my own case, the most influential person was my father, a courageous Baptist pastor. Hopefully, someday your children will also say something like Abraham Lincoln: "All that I am, or hope to be, I owe to my angel mother."...

Rebecca Ann Phillips was welcomed into Alpha Omega Academy® in 2002, and she has been with us ever since! A member of the class of 2010, Rebecca has a love for music, especially the violin. Each week, she takes violin, ballet, and tap dance classes at Colorado State University-Pueblo and the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs....
May is a very eventful time of year for schools, and this is also true for distance learning schools like Alpha Omega Academy®. This past May, graduation receptions were held in four locations throughout the continental United States. Academy graduates came from various places in the United States and the world to participate in these receptions....
