Recently, Alpha Omega Academy® sent an email inviting all 11th and 12th grade distance learning students to apply for membership in AOA's Chapter of the National Honor Society. More than just an honor roll, the National Honor Society is an exciting nationwide organization that consists of many chapters in high schools across the United States. Membership is based upon a student's outstanding performance in four areas: academic achievement, service, leadership, and character.

Intro to AOA WebinarSpecific criteria for National Honor Society membership at Alpha Omega Academy include:

• Full-time 11th and 12th grade high school students who have completed at least one semester of work
• GPA of 3.33 or better
• No suspicion of academic misbehavior

The final selections are now in the process of being made by the selection committee. New members who are chosen can look forward to being inducted into Alpha Omega Academy's chapter of the National Honor Society in an official online ceremony in early January 2010.
