Take a Closer Look

With the start of a new year, Alpha Omega Academy is excited to introduce a new Closer Look feature to the AOA Today. Each month, we'll feature photos and stories from our students on a wide variety of topics, so we can learn how you spend your time outside school.

Alpha Omega Academy - Holiday Traditions of TeachersFor this introductory edition, we took a closer look at the favorite holiday traditions and events of your ASRs, academic advisors, teachers, and administrators. Check out the slideshow to see which one of your teachers goes to Florida for Christmas, who sings "Happy Birthday" to baby Jesus, and who attends a Wild West gun show!

Directions: Microsoft® PowerPoint® is required to view the slideshow. First, click on the image or the link above. Then, depending on your browser, you need to open the file by selecting "Open" or clicking the file that appears in the lower left-hand corner of your screen. You may also be asked to "enable external content" to view all photos. To view the next slide, click the down arrow in the bottom right corner, scroll down using your mouse, or use the arrow keys on your keyboard.

Be Featured in Next Month's AOA Today!
Next month's Closer Look feature topic is volunteering. We would love for you to send us a photo of you volunteering, along with a 3-5 sentence explanation of what you do and how you volunteer in your community. To be featured in the February 14 issue of the AOA Today, please email your photo and summary to MyAOA@aoacademy.com by February 1.

We are looking forward to seeing how God is using our students at Alpha Omega Academy to further the work of God's kingdom!

Hailey, you can click either the image above or the link I just created that says "Check out the slideshow." If you click that and it appears nothing happens, check the lower left-hand corner of your screen to see if a downloaded file is there to click.

If you're still having trouble seeing the slideshow, please leave another comment, and I'll do my best to help you.
