AOA offers electronic-based curriculum with Switched-On Online™ and Switched-On Schoolhouse® and print-based curriculum with LIFEPAC® and Horizons. Each Christian curriculum offers unique benefits and features for your student's education.

Switched-On Online
With Switched-On Online, your student will enjoy a convenient, web-based learning environment. With the ease of any Internet connection, Switched-On Online allows the freedom to learn anywhere at any time, improving the method for course delivery with applications for Windows®, Macintosh®, and Linux-based operating systems. Providing similar Bible-based content found in Switched-On Schoolhouse, Switched-On Online allows students to submit projects in various media formats like student-created videos and slide shows. Switched-On Online offers students in grades 3-12 the five core subjects of Bible, history and geography, language arts, math, and science, as well as over 30 electives.

Switched-On Schoolhouse
Integrating today's cutting-edge multimedia, the electronic-based Switched-On Schoolhouse engages students with an enriching learning format. Offering ease, accuracy, and appeal, SOS includes multimedia features like 3-D animation, video clips, learning games, maps, timelines, interactive projects, and other innovative learning tools. Unlike textbooks, SOS offers a variety of teaching methods, practical application opportunities, and content reinforcement. Available for students in grades 3-12, SOS offers the five Christ-centered core subjects of Bible, history and geography, language arts, math, and science, as well as over 30 electives.

LIFEPAC
LIFEPAC is a full-color, worktext curriculum that uses mastery-based learning to help students understand concepts and content in each unit. LIFEPACs are consumable worktexts, a combination of a textbook and a workbook. Under the direction of parents, students read self-paced lessons, complete activities, interact with teachers, and are tested before moving on to the next LIFEPAC unit. This motivating, Bible-based curriculum conveniently coordinates subject text, exercises, projects, reviews, and tests. LIFEPAC offers students in grades K-12 the five core subjects of Bible, history and geography, language arts, math, and science, as well as over 15 electives.

Horizons
Horizons is a fun-filled, comprehensive curriculum with engaging workbooks and hands-on lessons. Creative, colorful lessons establish students in grades K-6 in the fundamentals of math, phonics, reading, spelling, and vocabulary. Horizons Math and Language Arts courses use the spiral learning method of concept introduction, frequent review, and reinforcement. In addition, the unique Horizons Math is a fast-paced, teacher-directed format that uses manipulatives and accelerated learning to build mathematical understanding. Horizons curriculum includes Phonics & Reading (K-2), Spelling & Vocabulary (1-2), Math (K-6), and Penmanship (1-5).
