In 2nd grade science, students continue to develop observational skills as they study the physical universe God created. This Bible-based course integrates hands-on experiment activities with lessons to emphasize science concepts. Print-based lessons in this online academy course explain how people are alike and different, how to care for the world, along with examining animals, plants, and the five human senses.
Topics help students learn the difference between God-made and man-made objects, plant habitats, and physical properties. Colors, shapes, sizes, and textures are also explored. Students in this online academy course also learn how people interaction with neighborhoods, more about seasons, and how God’s love and His Word never changes. Course units contain quizzes and tests to evaluate progress and student mastery.
