Improve students’ speaking and writing skills with 8th grade language arts. In this online academy course, students are presented with integrated English instruction that interweaves the elements of sentence structure, spelling, reading, vocabulary, composition, and speaking. Strengthening communication and promoting correct language usage is the main focus of this course.

Lesson topics in this online academy course include handwriting practice, etymology, grammar, dictionary and thesaurus skills, and written and oral language. Full-color illustrations and hands-on exercises motivate students to learn and help cement concepts being taught. A perfect review course before high school, this course covers lessons on literature, critical thinking, listening, parts of speech, and punctuation.
