Give students a fun, diverse art elective! This basic art course is presented in a practical, hands-on format designed for beginners. LIFEPAC Art gives students in grades 9-12 a comprehensive introduction to art, design, and composition. A broad scope of fundamental art topics is studied in this course from our online academy including principles of color, styles of art, idea generation, and perspective.
Students also learn different art styles and how to apply personality into artwork. Best of all, previous art experience is not required! Hands-on activities include drawing, printmaking, cartoons, calligraphy, and sculpture. A section on art appreciation that covers the purpose of art, movements and styles, and basic art forms is also included. This course from our online academy contains quizzes and tests to evaluate progress and student mastery. Projects are included.
Additional Details
This course requires art supplies. It is suggested that parents review each LIFEPAC prior to student use and record a list of needed supplies. Most supplies should be readily available at craft stores or art supply stores. (Please note that there are often several projects suggested, allowing you to choose projects that are which have the most affordable supplies.)
