In this geometry course, students are introduced to the fundamentals of lines, segments, and angles. Topics include a study of two-dimensional and three-dimensional geometry. Various angles, parallel lines, logic and proof, transformations, shapes, volume and area, and coordinate geometry are all examined. Students in this course from our online academy will also learn how geometry and dimensions are used in everyday situations.
Presenting geometric principles in a step-by-step manner, this course from our online academy outlines the history of geometry, geometric theorems, logic and reasoning, isometry, and geometric proofs. Lessons discuss triangles, polygons, parallelograms, trapezoids, circles, rhombuses, spheres, and additional shapes. Exercise problems include finding cosine and sine, circumference, pi, area, points on a plane, and angle measure. Each unit of the course contains quizzes and a test to evaluate progress and student mastery.
