Get the right angle on college prep with this math elective! Trigonometry is a one-semester course that introduces the properties of trigonometric functions and their graphs. This course from our online academy emphasizes graphing and to see how trigonometric functions work. Topics of study include right angle trigonometry, Pythagorean identities, graphing and amplitude, inverse functions, and analytical trigonometry.
Equipping students for upper-level math courses, this course from our online academy includes additional topics like polar coordinates and laws of sines and cosines. Students also apply trigonometry to real world problems. Lessons include exercises such as velocity, length of sides, reciprocal functions, and proving identities. Each unit of the course contains quizzes and a test to evaluate progress and student mastery.

Students require access to a scientific calculator for this course. A graphing calculator is not required.
