In continued partnership with the University of Northwestern – St. Paul, Alpha Omega Academy is pleased to offer students access to summer term college courses in 2015.
Alpha Omega Academy's dual credit program, known as Early College at the University of Northwestern, is a great opportunity for students to get a head start on their undergraduate degrees while saving on college tuition. Through the program, students earn high school and college credits simultaneously during their junior and senior years at AOA.
The academy's partnership with the University of Northwestern – St. Paul began last fall and offers more than 65 college courses.
To qualify for the program, students must hold junior or senior status, maintain a grade point average of 2.75 or higher, and meet minimum standardized test scores (ACT/PLAN score of at least 18 or SAT score of at least 1200 or PSAT score of at least 120). For each four-credit college course students complete, they earn a full high school credit through AOA.
