As a distance learning teacher at Alpha Omega Academy, Brad Vogel shows a genuine interest in his general science, biology, and physical science students. “I enjoy the one-on-one time I get with my students over the phone. It gives me great pleasure to know that I can teach students something that they will use for the rest of their lives,” said Vogel. AOA students know that Vogel will be there to help with words of encouragement anytime they call with questions about assignments.
In addition to teaching, Vogel loves sports. While pursuing his college degree, Vogel played basketball and attended a national tournament playoff with his team during his freshman year. Vogel’s love for basketball hasn’t diminished, and he hopes to use his skills in the near future as a coach for a local high school. In his free time, Vogel also enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time in the great outdoors with his family.
Ever since he was a young boy, Vogel has always loved school. His love for learning and children prompted him to become the teacher that he is today. As he continues to encourage his Alpha Omega Academy students to embrace their education and science lessons, Vogel hopes he will be remembered as a Christian teacher who was a friend and mentor. “Remember, don’t count the days, make the days count,” Vogel said.
