Formerly a science teacher, Julia Ellis is now the principal at Alpha Omega Academy. As principal, she is responsible for implementing policies and procedures, ensuring effective communication between faculty and families, leading the student internship program, and continuously refining education at AOA.
Her goal as principal is to help create an environment where students have the opportunity to receive a rich, Christ-centered educational experience. All students should leave Alpha Omega Academy knowing they are unique creations from God who can use their gifts to further His kingdom.
Mrs. Ellis holds a bachelor of science degree in chemistry with a minor in secondary education from the University of Tennessee. She also holds a master of arts degree in curriculum and instruction with a minor in educational administration.
Mrs. Ellis is married to her husband, Zach, and they have one son, Karson, and two dogs, Mallory and Franklin. Her hobbies include spending time with family and friends, hiking, traveling, riding roller coasters, cooking, running, and Zumba. She also stays involved at her church by serving as the women’s ministry director. A few of Ellis’ favorite Bible verses are 1 John 3:18, Proverbs 3: 5-6, and Galatians 5:22.
