Natasha Brady is an elementary teacher at Alpha Omega Academy. She has a master’s degree in educational leadership from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona, and she has over 10 years of experience in the educational field.
Before coming to AOA, Brady was a teacher in public school, private school, and homeschool co-op classes, as well as an educational consultant. She enjoys seeing students grow academically and spiritually.
“I love helping kids grow closer to God as they study their academic lessons,” Brady said. “When a student has a lightbulb moment or they tell me about their faith, it makes my day!”
Although she was born in Orange County, California, Brady and her three younger brothers moved around a lot during their childhood. Today, she homeschools her own children and hopes to pass on her love of Christ to them as her mother did to her.
“My mom taught me about God’s great love for me, and I accepted Christ as my savior at a young age,” she said. “I’ve faced a lot of difficult times in my life, but God has always been there each step of the way. I am so thankful for such a loving and gracious God.”
In addition to teaching, Brady has coached gymnastics on and off since high school. While her favorites foods today are tacos and chocolate, one thing she avoids is coffee.
“I made a bet with my dad when I was a kid that I would never drink coffee,” she said. “I am still winning the bet!”
Favorite Verse: “Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love” (Ephesians 4:2).
