Attention AOA travel bugs! Alpha Omega Academy is excited to team up with WorldStrides, an educational travel company, to offer students ages 14 and older the opportunity to tour New York City and Boston with their teachers and peers in 2018.
This past spring, AOA was able to put together a trip to Washington, D.C., and surrounding are-as. It was such a successful endeavor that we have decided to present another amazing oppor-tunity for you to meet some of your classmates and teachers in the equally historic and exciting cities of Boston and New York! This incredible trip is scheduled for June 1-7, 2018.
The trip is open to all AOA students ages 14-18 and will be led by Monique Escobedo. Ms. Escobedo is a Spanish teacher at AOA, and she is thrilled to be able to lead students to explore im-portant sites like Ellis Island, the Statue of Liberty, the 9/11 National Memorial, Lexington and Concord, the Mayflower, and so much more.
The program will also be chaperoned with other teachers as needed, and the group will be guided by a WorldStrides-certified course leader. If interested, you can learn more on the trip’s official webpage on AOA’s virtual campus.
We also strongly encourage you to attend one of our free webinars this month where Ms. Escobedo and a WorldStrides representative will be available to present trip specifics and answer any questions. You don’t not want to miss this adventure that will surely give your child incom-parable learning moments and wonderful memories that will last a lifetime.
